Ella (ulipristal acetate) works for up to 5 days after contraceptive failure or unprotected sex. It is already available in at least 22 countries. The usual suspect are trotting out the same arguments, against the new pill that were used against Plan B . Because of a chemical similarity they are also linking the new contraceptive to the abortion pill RU-486 (Mifeprex)
